Yep, you've seen him as the guitar/harp player and singer with me in The Mostly Blues Band ... BUT - you gotta see his kick-ass, foot stompin' solo blues: every Tues at The Northside and every Wed at The Towpath Cabin - sometimes he even does some Mountain Dancing (go to his show and ask him about it). The solo shows are guitar, vocals, harmonica and stompbox. Mike plays a lot of American roots music, especially from the Mississippi Delta, Memphis, and Piedmont regions. You’ll also hear some Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, and other 50’s and 60’s era Chicago blues, as well as a bit of everything else from originals to swing and jazz to murder ballads to fiddle tunes to old country tunes to surf guitar stuff. |

Who would've thought that 2 Akron high school classmates would both end up kickin' it on stage in our hometown (sometimes together). Wanda is my personal favorite R&B singer in Northeast Ohio! My husband and I love to dance to her band's rowdy brand of music! |
